Our PropertiesThe South West Oklahoma properties are meticulous managed and cultivated to produce the best game for the hunting enthusiast. Our portfolio encompasses some of the richest country for mixed-bag hunting to include Mallards, Pintail, Gadwall, Widgeon, Specs, Snows, and many other species of waterfowl for a one of a kind hunting experience in a Tri-State area. Starting in March each year, we work to prepare plots and fields for the season, along with our members. We encourage our members to get involved to build property awareness and camaraderie in the club. We coordinate member workdays through out the year from March through October. Our properties are located in the heart of the central flyway, made up of privately owned fields, lakes, playas and river bottoms, which hold countless ducks, geese, turkey, dove, and quail during the season. For the avid deer hunter, you have opportunities to harvest trophy bucks. Field-n-Stream: The signature property of FowlPlay Hunt Club features a controlled wetland that sits down in a natural draw. Predominantly a duck property, geese and quail are also typically taken throughout the season. Duck hunters can expect an opportunity of a mixed bag on each hunt to test all their shooting skills. Deer are frequently seen foraging though mesquite trees and willows. Three blinds feature ample flexibility to keep the wind at your back. Tim Hole: This several acre playa does not require much rainfall to fill up and holds it water throughout the season. Large trees provide plenty of concealment for the permanent blind built under the willows on the west side. Tall cover around the perimeter provides opportunities to hunt any wind direction. The surrounding 160 acres have been committed to become a permanent wetland in the near future. Dead Cow Playa: Located just behind Tim Hole, this skinny water provides quality loafing water for resting ducks throughout the day. It’s proximity to Tim Hole creates wing shooting opportunities when the ducks are circling above looking for a place to set down. Dove hunters will find great success during the split season. White Lake: This 100-acre plus lake is split into two distinct areas and is a major waterfowl roost for wintering birds throughout Tillman County. Geese and duck numbers consistently build throughout the early part of the season with upwards of 50,000 geese and ducks capable of roosting overnight. Sandhill Crane are often seen flying overhead on their way to feeding grounds. Deer and quail can be seen moving about the property throughout the day. HHH Lodge Pond: This spring feed pond is a cattail hunter’s paradise. No need for a blind with tall thick reeds to conceal the most fidgety hunter and retriever. Diver ducks, teal, widgeon and pintail are the most plentiful species seen on game straps. Big 80: Permanently added to the FowlPlay portfolio last year; the Big 80 is best suited for the upland hunter and working dog. The newly created water with loafing island is fed by a well to maintain steady water for game to come to throughout the season. Plum thickets, massive cottonwoods, cedars and plenty of ground cover, provide quail a much protected habitat. Liberated pheasant hunts are currently in place to help propagate a steady upland presence. Deer consistently travel through the Big 80 on their way to feeding grounds just to the north and south. Tom’s Barn: This 160 acre property becomes a teal magnet with some well timed rain during late summer. It doesn’t take much to flood the two low spots after the crops are in place. Following teal season, dove hunters can expect to have constant success throughout the season. Head Quarters: The 100+ acres behind the main house and grain silos provide dove and quail opportunities. There is plenty of elbowroom for everyone and hunters have their choice of spots based on membership; however, I'd suggest that you come out a day early to scout, which is key for a successful hunt. Many of the properties have two and four man blinds available. |
